I was about six years old and my parents had just moved us into a new house. From the first visit I never felt comfortable in that house and still, 15 years later I hate being there alone. The first couple of months after moving in we had a few incidents, keys would go missing, electricity would cut, creeks, and bangs on the walls but my parents reassured me that it was just because it was a new house and we weren’t used to its personality yet.
One night I was woken by a feeling of being really cold. I sat up and opened my eyes, and there was a figure standing in my doorway. The only way I can describe it is that it was like death, but all in white. It had no face, just an unimaginably dark space where a face should be, long, long arms which had no skin, but exposed muscle and skeletal hands.
It took me a second to register what I was seeing, I wasn’t scared, just extraordinarily sad. The figure made its way over to my bed, sat down and stroked the top of my head. While it was brushing the hair from my face it lent close it me and said “I know you”, then quickly got up and sped out my room and down our stairs.
I’m really curious to see if anyone has had the same experience. It’s something thats stayed with me ever since, causing what seemed like a downward spiral of ever increasing paranormal experience.
