This October we are going to bring you some of the most interesting #true paranormal cases we can find. You can discover more true, terrifying accounts of the paranormal right here.
Many years ago, now one of my best girlfriends, Cyd, died of a drug overdose in Los Angeles. This girl was more like a sister to me and she was a smart girl. She just got in with the wrong crowd and one thing leads to another. Every time I saw her she was more, and more addicted to whatever she was taking with her so-called friends from college.
About a month later I was driving in San Diego when I pulled into a gas station. As I filled my tank I thought I saw my friend in the window of my car. I thought I was seeing things. That night I couldn’t stop thinking about Cyd. We enjoyed so many good times together. It was really hard to think that I saw her that day as the gas station. I thanked her for appearing to me. The following day I got up and took a shower while I was washing my hair I suddenly heard the light switch flick. Blackness. I wasn’t really scared or anything, figuring it was a wiring issue. I was amazed when I reached my hand out and the light switch was actually turned off position. I had to turn it back on myself. Thankfully it worked. I remembered trying to contact Cyd the night before, and turning the lights off while I was in the shower seemed like a prank she would pull.
I know this is not a dramatic account but to me it proves that the spirit continues after we die. I really appreciated her coming to me that night. I wonder how many other people have had experiences like this?
