Take A Look Inside The UK’s First Haunted Antiques Paranormal Research Centre, Leicester

27 February 2018 | Your Stories

A paranormal research centre for investigating haunted antiques is opening in Hinckley next weekend – and it’s thought to be the only one of its kind in the UK.

The centre is being launched by local paranormal investigator Neil Packer, who plans to conduct a number of different types of research via live feeds, as well as open it up to the public at weekends.

The centre features a main exhibition room containing all of the haunted items – which people will be able to pick up and sit in, then record their feelings in the day book to be included in the research.

There’s also be a room where visitors can sit and have a drink and a chat with like-minded people about anything paranormal.

Having been investigating for many years, Neil Packer began collecting objects – mainly from antique centres – just over a year ago. He researches the objects to see if they can be haunted or hold attachments.

Having amassed a collection of more than 50 objects, he’s decided it’s time to relocate the items from his home to larger premises – so he can expand the collection further, and enable members of the public to be able to visit.

Neil, who has more than 9,000 followers on Facebook from all over the world, describes the centre as “a brand new concept in the already huge paranormal field.”

He was keen to locate the centre in a building with history, and has find the ideal place – a haunted building in Regent Street, Hinckley. Learn more about the centre by clicking here.
