A woman who claims she only has sex with ghosts has revealed her plans to have a baby with her spirit lover.
Amethyst Realm, 30, from Bristol, told This Morning on Monday she has been with her ghost lover for six months and said she is ready to start a family.
Speaking on the ITV show, Ms Realm, who claims she turned her back on men to have ‘sex with ghosts’ more than 11 years ago, revealed she believes phantom pregnancies are actually real, and are the result of conceiving a baby with a spirit – and can result in a human baby.
However, the spiritual guidance counsellor, who claims to have had sexual encounters with 20 different ghostly lovers, left viewers baffled by her comments, with many branding her ‘crazy’ and ‘attention seeking’.
Ms Realm said she had met the ghost in the Australian bush, and it followed her on to the plane back to England, where they had a sexual experience in the toilets.
Now their relationship has continued to blossom; they have fallen in love and Ms Realm said she wants to have a child with the ghost.
She explained: ‘I’ve been looking into phantom pregnancy and I believe phantom pregnancy is a real pregnancy but you have a phantom inside you rather than a human baby.
‘The reason you don’t carry it on full term is because people can’t comprehend that it’s possible, but I’m hoping through understanding my body I’ll be able to.’
Ms Realm said ‘part of the excitement’ will be finding out if her baby is human or a spirit.
She said the spirit lover, that she cannot see or touch, is ‘very ancient, very wise, very kind’ and their love is the same as regular ‘earth-bound’ relationships.
She said they are now planning a handfasting, which is a pagan commitment ceremony similar to a wedding.
