Someone was Watching Me….

06 February 2020 | Haunted houses, Your Stories, Your True Encounters

I am 14 and when I was 11, my mom had just got a new job, so we moved to a new house. The house was not the best but had the room for my mom, two sisters, brother in law, step mom, and me. Shortly after we moved in, I was having trouble sleeping at night. It was like someone was always watching me.

It was middle of the summer and we didn’t have the best air conditioning so my mom always kept my window open. I hated that window. It was right by some vines that crawled up the house and I was on the second story. I always felt like something was going to come up and crawl through my window.

I hated being alone in that house. I would get home from school and just kind of sit outside for a little while waiting for somebody else to arrive home. The little things like keys would go missing, school pencils stuff like that and I’d search and search, only to find him in the same exact spot I left them. I also would beg my mom to sit outside the bathroom while I showered. I know, I know, 11 year old girl not wanting to shower by yourself – it sounds kind of well stupid. But terrified me, I just always felt like I was being watched. The thing that really tipped over the iceberg for me was when my fish flew across the room and landed in front of me.

Later that year, the downstairs pipe busted so my mom had to crawl under the house hand up the other pipe. My mom and my step mom are both nurses, so joking around my stepmom goes watch out for raccoons, watch out for tetanus, and in my step mom’s voice, my mom heard “watch out for Johnny Millburn.” Later, after they had finished, my mother asked why did she say watch out for Johnny Milburn but my stepmom sweared on her mother’s ashes that she never said that yet my brother-in-law also heard her say it. Well they were talking about it and my mother smelt this putrid smell and could not figure out where it was coming from. I am really big into the supernatural aspect of life and I understand when you smell a very awful and putrid smell it can be because of a demonic presence.

After that, small things would happen like you know stuff going missing. My sister said one night while doing school work, her laptop flew across the room out of her hands. I was more than relieved when we moved out a year-and-a-half later in the middle of winter. It was a frightening experience for me and I’ve never quite had anything like it since then but I’m always very open-minded when it comes to stuff like that.
