My story begins in 1983 at the age of 8 years old. When I saw my first ghost. From that point on, I was hooked and wanted answers. Fast forward to 2015. I am with my team – arrowhead paranormal out of Uncasville Connecticut. My grandfather and hero had just passed. I had woke at 2 am to use the bathroom only to see my daughter sitting in the living room. I asked her what she was doing. She said that she had seen a black shadow with a white mist walking in the hall way. I thought nothing of it because she has the fife and can see and talk to spirits. I went back to bed. At 6 am, my phone rings on the other end is my mother telling me that my grandmother had seen a black shadow with a white mist at her home. (side note – my grandmother does not believe in ghosts so it was a little odd.) I told my mom I would look into it later that day. When I finally got up and was ready for my day, I went to Leffingwell house museum. I was there for just 10 minutes when I received a call that my mom had fallen and was in route the the hospital. It was at this point that I started putting the nights events together.
After making sure my mom was ok, I gathered some of my team and went to my grandmothers to see if we could figure out what she saw. We put out our equipment but nothing was happening until my daughter came in the room She saw my grandfather. He told her that he was trying to get the attention of anyone who could see him about my mom’s fall.
As we were leaving, we all witnessed a white mist leaving my grandmother’s bedroom. It was my grandfather all along protecting his family.
He has been gone 5 years now and every time there is an emergency with a family member, my grandfather lets my daughter know ahead of time .
This story was the first but there has been a few more .http://
