Encounter With Tall White Figure (Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada)

24 April 2018 | Haunted locations, Your Stories, Your True Encounters

Back in 2010, me and my friend went outside in his backyard forest, which is a couple acres, at probably close to 1am to go explore and there’s a steep cliff when you first walk in. When we were standing at the cliff before the path way leading down to the rest of the forest, I could see a tall white illuminated figure and it was in between two trees kind of moving around between the trees. I asked my friend if he saw it and he said yes, and then we stood silent in fear and I could feel impending doom. The best way I can describe it is the feeling you get when someone dies or you are about to die, the feeling of dread inside your chest

The Dorset Echo Reports About A Pump Haunted By A Bucket Carrying Boy

21 April 2018 | Your Stories

The Dorset Echo recently included a story about a town pump in Dorchester that was erected AD 1784, around the same time as Grey’s Bridge. It was erected on the site of the cupola or market house in the county town and the plaque commemorates this erection. This memorial is on the site of what was once a lively market. Rumour has it that the area around the obelisk is haunted by the ghost of a small boy. Witnesses have described him as wearing dirty clothing, being bare-footed and carrying a wooden bucket. It seems as though he collects water in his bucket and then disappears into thin air. He’s only ever seen in broad daylight at a certain time of day with witnesses describing him as being very ‘solid’ and ‘real life’

17 April 2018 | Your Stories

Adrian Marley is a logical man. The ex-maths lecturer believes there’s a rational reason for everything. However, he just can’t quite explain what’s happening inside his pub. “I’ve experienced glasses leaving tables,” said the 52-year-old. A cynic may suggest that glasses falling off pub tables isn’t too uncommon – especially after punters have enjoyed a few pints. But this is inside The Schooner, the Gateshead boozer which has a reputation for good beer, good music – and now, ghosts. “The glasses slowly slide away and eventually just fall off the edge,” added landlord Adrian. “It has happened on several occasions at different locations around the pub.” The academic in Adrian makes him think it’s caused by reduced drag coefficient, due to gravity. But even he admits: “I’d like to think it is

Do Paranormal Experiences Come From Other Dimensions?

12 April 2018 | Your Stories

Professor Bernard Carr is a professor of mathematics and astronomy at the Queen Mary University of London. He studied under Stephen Hawking and earned his doctorate at Cambridge. This is not a man to make up mumbo-jumbo to gain attention, nor is he in the habit of spouting half-baked theories about ghosts and aliens fabricated from baseless speculation. So when Professor Carr says that paranormal activity is real and that it’s actually happening in another dimension, it’s important not to dismiss him as yet another conspiracy theorist trying to become internet famous. In a talk at the Euro-PA Conference, Carr explained why we shouldn’t be too quick to dismiss so-called paranormal events. Carr believes that there’s a hierarchical structure to the dimensions – many of which we cannot perceive – but that the human consciousness

Poltergeist – The Disappearing Cross by Keith Linder

09 April 2018 | Poltergeist, Your True Encounters

A month before this movie came out, my cousin flew down from Dallas TX and stayed with me and my girlfriend up near Seattle, WA, in a small town called Bothell. My cousin had been aware of our ghost sort of speak – meaning she knew just enough to still want to come. To be safe, she bought a cross with her, a gift for me and my girlfriend. Hopefully, this cross will protect all of us. Written on it were the Chapters Joshua 1:9, Phil 4:13, Psalm 28:7 and Matthew 19:26; each verse spoke about maintaining one’s strength, one’s faith during troubling times. My girlfriend and I had been having strong poltergeist-like activity so reading something was extremely helpful. When my cousin arrived she handed me cross; we prayed
