We moved into a bigger house recently where I have been having some strange experiences. These are not frightening, or creepy, but do interest me. I was sleeping one night, having a bad dream, I woke up out of nowhere. I was laid on my left side facing my room and as I turned over to go back to sleep on my right side, I looked through my bedroom door and saw a dark male shadow figure. I did a double-take but when I looked back it was obviously gone. It didn’t feel threatening nor did it frighten or startle me. In fact, I just rolled over and went back to sleep peacefully. This month saw the placing on the local real estate market of a small property in St. Osyth, Essex. That anyone would want to live there is, I think, unlikely but it may make for a wonderful paranormal business of some type and be an interesting investment as a result. My mom’s family has had various encounters with the supernatural and although this one is short, this is probably one of the strangest I’ve heard so far and I’m hoping to get some answers. This happened to my grandmother back when she was young. My grandfather would take her and their kids on small trips out of town. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to see this strange document first hand, as it was on display outside of Brno. In fact, what I saw was a copy of the original. Nonetheless, the effect was chilling. The Devil’s Bible or Codex Gigas is 36inches tall by 20 inches wide and about 9 inches thick. It contains a set of Christian texts including the Bible.
