In the early 1970s in Thornton Heath, England, a family was tormented by poltergeist phenomena that started one August night when they were woken in the middle of the night by a blaring bedside radio that had somehow turned itself on. Not only had the radio managed to turn itself on, but it had tuned itself to a foreign-language station. This happened to me a few nights ago. I can’t explain it. But from my research, I think I had an encounter with the black-eyed kids you have been posting about. Please share my account with others. Last Sunday, I headed out to mow my lawn. In the front of my house I have a large garden. To my horror, someone had been by and stepped all over my roses. In the mid-1950’s I was traveling with my husband to Amarillo, Texas. It was a nice day, and we were enjoying ourselves. We drove south and to my surprise we passed a man hanging from a tree. He was dressed in a pair of jeans, no shirt, no shoes. It completely caught me by surprise. I asked my husband if he saw it, and he hadn’t. He just thought it was my imagination. I thought that perhaps I’d imagined it too. We arrived in Amarillo, spent six weeks with my family, and then we returned home. We were close to the area where I’d seen the hanging man.
