Working the night shift for a data center in Ohio, a man had a creepy exchange and posted his tale anonymously as Noetic. It was around 5 am on July 31, 2010. Noetic was taking a smoke break outside when he noticed two teenage boys standing motionlessly and staring at him from across the street. Immediately feeling unnerved, he snubbed out his smoke and went back inside. No more than ten minutes later, the intercom buzzed. Noetic checked the monitors and there they were. Last night, I was a guest on Conflict Radio for an episode about Black Eyed Kids. In part two of the show, we talked with a man who has experienced the BEK. Not once but twice. His story was very disturbing and the podcast is well worth a listen if you have an hour of time. Not to spoil your enjoyment but the man first encountered the BEK in Manchester, England, when they tried to get a ride years ago. Having moved to Finland, he recently encountered them again on his doorstep. As you all know, I wrote a couple of books about the Black eyed Kids. If you aren’t familiar with them, just dig a little into this site for encounters with them. Occasionally, I think about the BEK, especially sometimes at night when I am alone and it is very late….. What has been a tad worrying though is on a few occasions, I have been woken up by sharp rapping on my front door. I’ll be honest and say my heart beat a little faster and I determined not to answer. Gradually falling back asleep all the while imagining the BEK outside. Whether I am dreaming the knocks or whether they are real, I am not too sure but…. it is a bit scary to say the least. What

A Black-Eyed Kid Ghost?

I am a paranormal investigator with Grand Rapids Ghost Hunters and have been for seven years. Last week, for the first time ever, we were told of an apparition living in a bedroom walk-in closet with no arms or legs and black eyes. The only one who sees the entity is a three-year-old little girl. We have recorded voices of a child and have reason to believe the ghost child named “Addy” is four years old. The black eyes are alarming and our team’s first encounter with a black-eyed ghost. ~Submitted by Wayne Thomas

While we haven’t had any BEK stories in a while at My Haunted Life Too, my book on the topic continues to capture a lot of interest and periodically, we see stories in the media. I came across this video recently while doing some additional research on the subject and although it covers a few old much-covered stories, I enjoyed the idea that there are photos of the BEK and they are on display in this video. In the last couple of weeks, I have appeared on a couple of radio/podcast shows. The first was a podcast called Passion for the Paranormal with the focus on the BEK – you can catch it here. Then, last night actually 4am my time, I was a guest on Beyond Reality Radio for two hours talking BEK, Paranormal Sex, The haunted Czech Republic and much more. Attempted Contact – Investigators Seek Black Eyed Child of Cannock Chase

According to a story in the Birmingham Mail , Manchester-based paranormal investigators Dale Makin and Justin Cowell, of the TV series Paranormal Truth, are set to venture into the forest of Cannock Chase with a ouija board in an effort to contact the enigmatic Black-Eyed kid there.
