It has been quite a while since we last got a ‘ghost in the machine’ type encounter from our readers. However, yesterday, we did receive this story – technical glitch or ghost in the machine? You decide! Over the past three nights, I have had some recurring and very odd “calls” on my cell phone. The first happened early in the morning at half-past four. In 2012, I was staying with my brother, in Winchendon Ma. A very small town with winding streets. He lived in a wooded area with houses far apart. One very early morning I received a phone call from a friend. He was driving through town on his way to a job.We agreed to meet in the yard. We were on our cell phones, I was directing him to the house and walking towards the street. I reached the end of the driveway and stopped short. This incident happened in 2009 in Odessa,Texas. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend, Artie and a dog. One night I was home alone with the dog. As I was ready to fall asleep, the dog already under the covers, I heard a man’s voice say “Hey lady” in a very distinct, gruff voice – like a heavy smoker. The dog reacted right away barking.
