We have had a few doppelganger encounters this last year submitted but this one takes the biscuit as the most weird…. I was a sophomore at a university in California when this incident took place. I saw my roommate’s doppelganger. I’m not positive, but I think this doppelganger crossed over from a parallel universe. I say that because she looked, pretty sinister. In 2012, I was staying with my brother, in Winchendon Ma. A very small town with winding streets. He lived in a wooded area with houses far apart. One very early morning I received a phone call from a friend. He was driving through town on his way to a job.We agreed to meet in the yard. We were on our cell phones, I was directing him to the house and walking towards the street. I reached the end of the driveway and stopped short. There was a pick up truck parked on the side of the street. It scared me because it didn’t belong. I thought there was someone in it and felt threatened. This incident happened in 2009 in Odessa,Texas. I was living in an apartment with my boyfriend, Artie and a dog. One night I was home alone with the dog. As I was ready to fall asleep, the dog already under the covers, I heard a man’s voice say “Hey lady” in a very distinct, gruff voice – like a heavy smoker. The dog reacted right away barking. Just then I heard Artie coming into the house. We talked about what happened, calmed the dog down and went to sleep. The next day, I mentioned the incident to a couple of neighbors. On the edge of town there is a very old graveyard. It had a name at one point—but the marker has been worn down to such a degree that the name is now unreadable. Most of us just call it the “bone yard.” The graves are some of the oldest in America. Some of the tombs are falling apart, many of the graves are unattended. Sometimes you see a bouquet, wreath or some sort of remembrance—but not often. One day I was walking home and happened to be walking past the graveyard.
