I found this story on the web……. scary! “Growing up, my dad’s house held many spooky, unexplainable nights. We would hear loud, heavy footsteps running up the stairs when we were home alone. It also sounded like a person – or thing – was dragging a rake up the walls as it sprinted up the stairs. But there was one room in the house where – sometimes in photographs – it looked like a man was watching us from the windows. The photos below were taken in the same room and six months apart. When I was younger growing up in a third world country, I noticed that my fear of darkness was not because of the inability to see what’s around me, yet the presence that I felt came out when it turned pitch black. While researching Poltergeist for my little book called Poltergeist, I came across a lot of very creepy stories and encounters but I missed this one which honestly, is the best Poltergeist story I have ever read! Apparently, in 1910 in a little Irish town called Enniscorthy. Three lodgers sharing a room experienced hellish activity. It started with the bedclothes being pulled off of one of the men, strange tapping noises, footsteps and the bed moving across the room by itself. Over the course of a week, the activity increased with the bed bing lifted at one point. The Guardian newspaper heard of the activity and sent reporters to cover the incident. In May 2016, reports of a werewolf in Hull were front-page news. Sighted by a local woman, she described it as follows; “It was stood upright one moment. The next it was down on all fours running like a dog. I was terrified. Yesterday, The Daily Mirror reported on a creep doll in a scary photo. This chilling snap shows a ‘haunted’ 116-year-old doll appearing to blink in a selfie – despite not having eyes or eyelids. The unusual activity was detected by two ghost hunters inside an abandoned building, known as ‘The Village of the Damned’, in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. It is claimed that people often feel sick, dizzy and often get headaches in the presence of Janet, as well as hearing footsteps and weird voices.
